Take me out to the Ball Game.

About 2 months ago Aaron joined a men's softball league. He usually plays Tuesday nights around 8:00 which means we never get to go but as luck had it to nights game was at 6:15.

We grabbed a quick dinner and made our way out to the diamonds (they are about 20 minutes from home which is so annoying to me) to meet up with the rest of the team. AJ was so excited he couldn't stop talking about it the whole way there. Unfortunately he was under the impression that he was going to be playing WITH Dad, and immediately broke into tears when we went to the bleachers and Aaron took to the Field.

He recovered fairly quickly and found a way to make baseball work one an individual level, lol! He was so funny running and playing, then he would stop and yell some encouraging words to Aaron before chasing down his own ball.

It was nice to get out of the house for a while, plus we haven't watched Aaron play any sports in a long time, which I actually enjoy. I can't believe that I am saying this but I really missed hockey this year. I only went to watch a few times each season but I loved hearing about the games and how happy it made him to play.

I only have the one lends for my camera so I couldn't get any great close ups or anything but here are some shots from out night out.

Here's our little coach gathering the team in and taking Dad aside to give him a few pointers.

When Poy wasn't up to bat he played on the side lines with Age, who is great at throwing the ball and.... still a little nervous about catching. I think he would just rather case it down.

As always I couldn't stop taking pictures of my little AJ. He is just to cute and I am sure you have all noticed this is my new favorite short on him. He played so hard and was having so much fun he couldn't even stop to let me straighten his hat! Oh well it's might be even cuter like that!

I also have yet to mention AJ's newest talent. He has always been a bit of a clean freak and his nose is no exception. He always asks for a tissue when he's done but I am just waiting for the day I see that finger go into his mouth, YUCK!

Not for the sweet in tooth!

WARNING: IF YOU HAVE A SWEET TOOTH THIS MAY BRING ON MAJOR CRAVINGS PLEASE BE ADVISED!

Saturday night a girl in our ward, Margo, had us all over for a girls night out. Now let me make this perfectly clear, Margo LOVES to host parties and ALWAYS goes way over the top, and this GNO was no exception.

About 3 weeks ago we received our "Dessert Night" invites, complete with a pump up CD full of 80 classics.(I'm to sexy, etc.) Not only did she send out about 20 invites she encouraged everyone to bring their girlfriends and a favorite dessert.

IT WAS CRAZY! I kept having to go back and take pictures of the new desserts as they rolled in. The house was decorated with candles and all kinds of cute stuff, including some awesome Canadian kick backs, since Margo is a fellow Canadian! We had a great time and I'm pretty sure my sugar high is just starting to wear off now, lol. Thanks Margo.

She had these cute little tags ne all the glasses so you would Remeber which one was yours. It was the best idea and so fun to pick out our tag, mine was "BIG GIRL" *sad, lol*

The FOOD. This was at the start of the night before everyone had put their stuff out, I wish I had taken another picture at the end!

The Girls. I didn't keep my camera out to long and only now realized how few pictures I took of the actual party go-ers. Opps, something to work on next time I guess.
I am due in three week's, Joy (Black Shirt) went into Labor after the party, and Daya has 4 weeks left but her babies like to come early. We are raceing to the finish line, but it feel's like we are going slower than Turtles!

Open Swim

It's happened the pool is finally opened for the summer! We have been swimming in the hot tub for the past few weeks just to fill our swimming needs but not anymore! We actually thought the pool was open for the long weekend since the chairs were out and the signs where up but it was FREZZIN'! I guess the heat wasn't on yet so it ended up being one more day in the hot tub.

However the heat is on and the sun is out and we are so excited! We will be spending as much time as possible at the pool over the next few weeks, since I can't swim for a but after having the baby. I guess it will be up to the Grandparents to come take AJ to the pool! *wink wink*

Anyways it was a perfect pool day and one of the best parts was having Steve there. I never want to bring my camera down since I can't leave AJ in the pool alone therefor I never get any shots. Well today Steve was in photographer mode, he snapped so really cute shots of everyone at the pool! I forgot how nice it can be to have someone else capturing the moment while you just enjoy living it, THANKS STEVE! We love these pictures.

Long Weekend mini-"hike"

So I am not really suppose to be hiking and Aaron was in no mood to deliver a baby in the middle of the woods so we decided to go with the Tolman's on a Mini-hike. This is about a 120 foot incline over .2 miles so yeah, more of a walk! But it was beautiful and gave me a chance to play around with the camera a bit. Enjoy the photos!

Age and Dad at the Park

AJ looks forward to Aaron's arrival every day. He spends about 15 minutes running from the living room to the door to check if he can see Dad yet. Usually we have dinner right away and then the boys spend an hour playing off all their energy.

With the beautiful weather finally here the boys are spending more and more time at the park across the street. They are always gone longer than they mean to be and AJ usually tells me to stay home. (I think I am to slow and interrupt their fun!) Friday night I decided to take the camera over and get a few pictures. I'm no photographer but I got a few cute shots and wanted to post some for our family back home.

A few weeks ago AJ found a bug over at Lyndsey's house and ever since then he's been very OCD about them. He will crawl around on the floor looking for anything that looks like it might be a bug and then come get one of us to kill it. He will even run over and bring us a tissue to scoop it up in. This happends ALL DAY LONG which may make you wonder why we have so many bugs running around our houses. Don't worry our apartments are clean, about 98% the "bug's" are nothing more than lint, a small pice of paper, old string, etc. but he still freaks out. We want to help him get over this fear, so here is AJ holding his first Ant.

AJ loves learning about new animals and going to the Zoo to see them all. As soon as he got up in this tree he started making Monkey sounds and acting like a little monkey, it was too cute. Don't worrie Grandpma's Aaron was always close by in case of an accident!

Playing on the stairs.

Showing off his muscles as we head home.
