Black Friday

This year for black Friday it was just Lynz and Me out to brave the cold and the crowds. We were so sad not to have Beckie and Cindy out with us but we new both of them were out on their own getting some great deals which brought us a little bit of comfort!

Last year we seemed to hit every stop just a little to late, meaning we spent most of the night standing in lines. This year we weren't going to be the ones left empty handed at the back of the lines. We made our plans, wrote out our lists, grabbed our umbrella and Credit Cars, and HIT THE ROAD!

We knew our healthy treats from home wouldn't be enough so we stopped to sugar up with a little hot coco and gas station junk.
Our first stop was Toy's-R-Us, which was already packed! Things were not looking good, line line up was at least two hours long and we had some major door busters on our list so I took matters into my own hands. Lynz held our crappy spot in line while I scoped out some of our fellow shoppers. I struck up a conversation with some girls who had already been there a few hours and we ended up getting in line with them. We were part of the first 50 people into the store. We got EVERYTHING on our lists and were out of there just 40 minutes after the door had opened! It was a fantastic first stop and it set the tone for the rest of the night. Every store was a perfect stop and we ended up getting home in plenty of time for a few hours sleep. Thanks Lynz you're a great shopping partner!

Yummy!

The last few months have been SO BUSY around here. Lynz and I have been babysitting like crazy for the wagners. The kids have loved spending so much time together and playing almost every day but it can get a little tiring to have so many kids around these tiny apartments. It is a great way to make a few extra bucks for the christmas season!

Since Nicole has been in school and Steve has been working the Wagner girls have REALLY been missing their family time so they decided that as a family they would make some reindeer cupcakes to take around to all their friends. Everyone loved them but no one was as greatful as Miles. Here's the boys enjoying the treats!

It's begining to look a lot like Christmas

After our adventures at the hospital we were happy to have Dad home safe and sound! After a few weeks of no lifting and taking it kind of easy he is back to his old self.
So we are once again decorating early for the Holidays, but I think why not get the party started ASAP! So on Nov. 16th we got out the boxes and set up Christmas.

The boys were so excited to hang all the decorations on the tree, this was the first time Miles was actually able to help out and enjoy the experience. While Aaron and I hurried to set up the tree and lights they enjoyed some shortbread cookies and candy canes.

It took all the self control I had to not replace all the ornament's they put on the tree but I was able to resist and here is what we ended up with!

HOPE YOU ALL HOP ON THE CHRISTMAS TRAIN WITH US!

Double Date Night

Aaron school often gives out tickets to the trail Blazer games which makes for a cheap and super fun date night. They draw names and give them out raffle style but a lot of people can't make the game and just end up giving their tickets to a friend and Aaron was able to snag TWO tickets! Woo-who!

They were lots of dedicated fans who got all painted up for the occasion as well as so delicious treats (which we could never afford to eat!)

The best part by far was the game! They played the Thunder and it went into overtime. It was a really close game but we ended up losing by 1 point! Can you believe that, Grrrr! This picture was taken right before the game started, see how happy my husband look? Unfortunately that happy face didn't last! By the end of the game Aaron was in visible pain, I think he was the only one in the place that wasn't excited the game went into overtime. He mentioned a little pain on his right side on our way to the game but thought it was no big deal however it continued to get worse and worse until even cheering was painful. I thought I might have to carry him to the car after the game but he's so tuff he just pushed through the pain.

He told me that if was his own Doctor he would think it was appendicitis but that only like 10% of the public get it so he was probably wrong. 5 hours of waiting, 4 doctors, 3 examinations, 2 blood tests, and one CT later.....Appendicitis!!! Good job doctor Poytress! Saturday morning he had an laproscopic appendectamy and we had our second date night of the week, YEAH! I am not sure if you can tell or Aaron had recently recived his "happy pills" and boy was he happy! I know that he was dissapointed that is perfect medical record was ruined but we are just happy he is healthy and happy, Love you POy!

Also we wanted to thanks the Lujans, Wagners, and Uncle Dust for all their help over the weekend. Most of my girl friends were at Time out for women this weekend which ment a lack of people to help out with the boys but these guys came to my rescue and I am SO GREATFUL! Miles decidied to be a little stinker and stream his face off for the Lujans. They didn't want his to wake up Age so they tried to rock him to sleep but...NO WAY! Finally they just put him in our room and let him sleep on the floor. It worked like a charm he only made noise for about 10 minutes and then quiet!

Here's how I found him: HA HA HA
Oh Miles!

The Other Grandpa Zoe

Sometimes AJ is Buzz, Woody, Oso, or a variaty of other tv/movie characters but some days He's Grandpa Zoe. That's right he gets all dressed in his jeams and a polo shirt (which HAS TO BE tucked in!) puts his phone on his belt and heads to his "shop". Today his "shop" was in his room, he was busy building his bunk beds, cuting, drilling and marking the wood with his Lellow work pensil.

Love this kid!

Oh and here's Grandma Moje according to Age, Baha ha ha!
