Little Boys

Every now and then we go through our cloths and pass items from one boy to the next, putting the ones we don't need away in bins. We actually don't have to put much away since Miles is just one size (if that) behind Becks, and Mads is just one size (even though he is a YEAR YOUNGER!) behind Miles. AJ is kind of in his own group being 19 months a head of the crew.

Anywho Lynz and I were going through the bins one day when we realized just how quiet it was. All Mothers know that silence is the worst sound you can hear unless it's bed time, and it was NOT bed time! So I jumped up and headed out to the living room where I found Becks and Miles each deeply involved in their own favorite activity.

Miles typing away at the computer creating all sorts of difficult to undue changes,

And Beckam, testing my apples, one by one. He can't reach the apples at his own house (for good reason) and so when I mistakenly left mine on the table he just couldn't contain himself.

Guess I should have learned my lesson the week before with the pears! HA HA HA!

Quick trip

You may have noticed that Papa was is the Halloween picture with Miles, I think this is the first Halloween that we have spent with the Poytress's and it was a lot of fun.

Al has been looking at Corvettes for a while, he likes to find them down here during the off season, import them, and them flip them. (enjoying the time in between where the cars are all his of course!) Well he found a beautiful 2007 blue Corvette for a pretty good price right here in Portland so down they came. Bonus for us we got to have Grandma and Grandpa here for Halloween weekend AND ride in the new Corvette, AWESOME!

It was a little rainy out but we decided it would be fun to hit up the Saturday market. Unfortunately Aaron was busy WINNING THE SCHOOL GOLF TOURNAMENT, but we managed to have a good time with out him.

Miles had a great time playing in the fountain with Papa.

This is one of our favorite local bands to listen to at the Saturday market. they are usually all over the place instead of stuck under the rain. Grandparents enjoying the boys, so much fun to have them with them. Grandma didn't have any appreate footwear so she had to borrow some of Dads. LOOKING GOOD GRANDMA!

Halloween 2010

Grrr.....every Halloween I think, "this year I am going to get the boy costumes early so I do have to run around frantically on October 31st trying to pull something together." but you know how it goes!

There are so many costumes out there that cost a million dollars and we just can't afford it but this year we found the jack pot. The Disney store had their Jammie's on two for twenty and check out the awesome buzz and woody Jammie, WHY WOULD YOU PAY $25.00 BUCKS FOR THE COSTUME? especially when these are better quality and can be use over and over as Jammie's???

I already had Miles costume from the consignment sale (so he just got cute new PJ's) which means I was actually ready a week ahead of time this year, OH YEAH!

Once we had the costumes we needed the pumpkin. I am not really one for getting my hand in there so I made caramel corn as my contribution!Seriously how unappealing!
Dad did a great job of our pumpkin and we loved having him as part of our family for a while. We made it a adults only party this year since the kids don't really get it, sorry boys!

The one on the end is suppose to be Micheal Jordan but the face got a little stretches. Oh well nice try!Which brings us around to the main event, HALLOWEEN! Can you guess what our theme was this year???

Since halloween falls on a Sunday this year our ward had a trick-or-treat event on Saturday night. It started with a carnavel in the gym for about 30 minutes and then the kids went trick-or-treating door to door through the halls of the church. Anyone who wanted to decorate a door was encoraged too but you were also given the opportunity to just donate candy. Aaron signed us up for a door, which actually ended up being a lot of fun.

I guess Aaron thought our door was to cute so he decided to creep it up a bit with this doll he found in the nursery, CREEPY!!!!

Miles simply couldn't wait to get some of that Candy in his mouth, he practically ate the wrapper of this sucker!
Great haul this year boys!

We also did a little get together on sunday to eat dinner and decorate cookies, because the kids simply hadn'thad enough suger, LOL. I love you both so much in your cute little outfits, happy halloween!

Icey Creamy Ice Cream, what a treat!

AJ and Megan don't get to spend as much time together as they use to so they LOVE to get together as often as possible. Whenever one is being picked up from school the other wants to go and so we try to take them along every now and then.

One day Nicole was feeling ambitious and took Erika, AJ, and Beckam to pick Megan up from kinder garden in my van. Well everyone was so well behaved Nicole thought, "No problems yet??? Why not add a little ice cream to the mix?" So that is exactly what she did. 10 minutes, 5 ice cream cones, and a million smiles later they arrived back home in a fairly orderly state.

Congratulations Nicole you made this one of the greatest days ever and didn't even get one drip of ice cream on my seats, YOU GO GIRL!

Unfortunatly for Miles he was still napping when all of this occured and seemed pretty upset when he woke up to the news!
