I love being me!

I am not sure what it is maybe the season, the beautiful sunny weather, or just the great night sleep's that I have been getting but I have been on a Major high this week. AJ and I have been spending a lot of time together (what's new!?) and we have gotten to ave so pretty fun experiences this week. We have been doing a little baking, walking around the complex and picking up the mail, shopping (or I guess window shopping), and yesterday we had and extra special morning. Nicole needed to go to the distribution center so we packed up the kid and away we went. We don't all fit in one car, since there are 3 car seats and we both only have one back seat, so it was just me and Age on the 20 minute drive to the temple. He pointed out all the fun things he saw out the window and we both did our best to sing along to the Christmas songs on the radio. (Probably best no one was around to hear that!) Anyways we spend about 30 minutes at the Temple, walking the grounds and sitting by the water fountain. AJ just sat and snuggled with me while we listened and watched the water run, it was such great moment. The we went down to the church book store. The book store here has a great area full of Lego and kids books so that your little ones can play while you look around. I think we were there for over a half hour as the kids played and we explored all the wonderful Christmas CD's and Literature. What a great way to focus your Christmas perspective and enjoy a morning with your family. We also needed to look for a special something since my little sister will be entering the waters of baptism in just a few short weeks! we are so excited for her and proud the the decision she has made to become a member of the Church.
After the book store I wasn't ready to go home, I just didn't want our special morning to end so we decided to go to "Pig & Pancake" it's a great, CHEAP, little breakfast place where you can get 2 eggs, 2 strips of bacon, and 2 pancakes for just $4.25! I ate the pancakes and Age at all the eggs and the bacon was a little to crisp to finish but we did our best. It was a great morning and we were able to follow it up with an awesome afternoon nap!

I also love my evening. We eat dinner every night between 6:00 - 6:30 depending on hen Aaron gets home and then we spent some time as a family until AJ hits the Hay at 8:00. Aaron is always busy with school but he sets this time aside each day to spend with us and relaxe at home. He is such a great man and I see him doing all he can to balance home and school, and honestly we haven't suffered. He makes all the time in the world for us whenever we need it and that is so important. Honestly, how lucky am I!?!

So there you have it yesterday was great and it is just one example of this fantastic week. I love my boys and feel blessed with all that we have. Soon we will be home for Christmas and enjoying our family and meeting our new little nephew, can't wait to see everyone! Love till then!
